Director, Scientific Data Insights (Healthcare)

Location: Remote - United States

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 USD base salary annually, plus eligible variable compensation.

What you will do

• Lead client-facing discussions to understand data needs and recommend fit-for-purpose datasets and data models.
• Design data models and map multiple datasets to those models.
• Assess data stacking and linking approaches for similar and different datasets.
• Develop data dictionaries and internal and external frameworks for dataset evaluation.
• Advise stakeholders on datasets for therapeutic areas, research questions, and analytical solutions.
• Coordinate new data source deployment with external partners and internal sales, delivery, product, and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of operational or management experience using real-world data, preferably in life sciences or healthcare.
• Master’s degree in a science-related field or an undergraduate engineering degree or higher.
• Experience acquiring and analyzing clinical and longitudinal patient datasets.
• Experience selecting and applying real-world data to research questions and therapeutic areas.
• Ability to manage data ingestion and implementation processes, operations, and technology.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and leadership skills; SQL experience is a plus.
