Salary: $66,120–$104,400 gross annual base pay

What you will do

  • Manage the intake, tracking, assignment, auditing, return, reassignment, retirement, and e-cycling of prototype, dogfood, and production hardware.
  • Maintain accurate inventory trackers covering device locations, statuses, serial numbers, MAC addresses, asset tags, and assignees.
  • Set up and maintain conference-room hardware test environments, including displays, compute boxes, cameras, microphones, controllers, soundbars, and peripherals.
  • Provision devices into test domains and fleets, connect them to corporate test networks, and update ChromeOS and Meet software builds.
  • Keep the NYC lab operational and ready for engineering and QA use by organizing equipment and triaging basic power, cabling, and connectivity issues.
  • Create and track purchase orders, vendor contracts, invoices, risk assessments, approvals, burn rates, and Cost Center 716 budgets.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in hardware lab management, IT asset management, logistics coordination, or IT operations.
  • Hands-on ability to unbox, assemble, mount, cable, lift, and move conference-room hardware and peripheral electronics weighing up to 35–50 lbs.
  • Experience with enterprise ERP and inventory systems such as SAP, Agile, or gPLM.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems such as Ariba, Buying Hub, Navigo, or Coupa, plus proficiency with Google Workspace.
  • Strong attention to detail for physical inventory, serial-number tracking, barcode auditing, and reconciliation.
  • Ability to collaborate with software engineers, QA, program managers, facilities teams, and external hardware vendors.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with ChromeOS, Google Meet Hardware peripherals, or video-conferencing systems from Logitech, Poly, Neat, or Lenovo.
  • Experience in technology hardware testing, AV testing, or electronics engineering labs.
  • Experience managing vendor quotes, statements of work, and cost-center budget trackers.
