Production Graphic Designer

Location: Kentwood, Michigan, United States; four weeks of in-office training required

What you will do

• Create customer-requested artwork for orders and prepare files for production.
• Maintain and manage multiple customer art files through creation, revision, and approval.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal team members throughout the artwork and plate-purchasing processes.
• Apply prepress requirements and ensure artwork quality and accuracy.
• Receive and inspect printing plates from vendors.
• Manage time effectively and recommend supplies or improvements that increase design efficiency and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and/or at least three years of practical experience creating graphics with computer graphic programs.
• Complete a minimum of four weeks of in-office training on purchasing software, email tools, art programs, and company procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple artwork files and maintain accuracy throughout production.
• Ability to collaborate respectfully with customers, vendors, and staff.
