Production Designer (Beauty Care)

Location: Cincinnati General Offices, United States

Salary: $85,000–$122,200 per year, plus bonus if applicable and benefits.

Procter & Gamble’s Beauty Care team develops consumer beauty products and related brand communications.

What you will do

• Adapt approved creative concepts for packaging, promotional materials, visual communications, eCommerce, and social media.
• Transform conceptual designs into accurate print-ready and digital artwork.
• Perform color correction, image optimization, and basic trapping for multiple print techniques and suppliers.
• Prepare final press-ready files according to printing specifications.
• Maintain organized production files, documentation, version control, asset libraries, and specifications.
• Apply brand, regulatory, printing, and graphic requirements throughout the artwork process.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of full-time design adaptation or graphic production experience, preferably in consumer packaging.
• Portfolio demonstrating production artwork for both print and digital media.
• Strong knowledge of prepress and print production standards, including spot colors, varnish, foil, die cuts, embossing, debossing, bleed, trapping, color separation, resolution, and substrates.
• Expertise with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Microsoft programs, and Mac workflows; fluent knowledge of Esko workflows is required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, prioritization, time management, and project management skills.
