Quality Supervisor EDU/Battery/MRB (1st Shift) (Automotive EV)

What you will do

• Supervise, train, mentor, and schedule quality inspectors and technicians.
• Ensure manufacturing processes and finished products meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead investigations into non-conformances, customer complaints, and quality deviations.
• Conduct internal production-floor audits and support customer and regulatory audits.
• Track MRB rates, defect rates, and first-pass yield; prepare daily and weekly quality reports.
• Partner with engineering and production to remove bottlenecks, apply Lean/Six Sigma methods, and maintain calibrated testing and measuring equipment.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of progressive quality assurance or quality-control experience in automotive manufacturing.
• 1–2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems software and Google Workspace.
• Ability to make rapid, data-driven decisions in a high-pressure automotive environment.
• Authority to stop production lines or shipments when quality standards or safety protocols are compromised.
• Strong cross-functional communication with supply chain, production, and engineering teams.
