Location: Dearborn, Michigan; hybrid with a requirement to be onsite four or more days per week. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $115,500–$218,100 per year

What you will do

• Lead and develop Quality Engineers and Teardown Specialists supporting high-voltage traction battery assemblies, including arrays, BECs, and BECMs.
• Drive warranty reduction, R/1000 and CPU targets, claim and DTC binning, and faster Patient Zero to Fix resolution.
• Lead complex A3/8D investigations, root-cause analysis, safety reviews, recalls, and launch-quality monitoring.
• Integrate hirify.global LLM, GitHub Copilot, and Alteryx into engineering workflows for data synthesis and failure-mode diagnosis.
• Provide supplier root-cause data for warranty-cost recovery and present quality findings to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in product development, quality engineering, or manufacturing focused on electrified powertrains.
• Experience leading or supervising technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in 8D/A3 problem solving, root-cause analysis, corporate quality tools, and quality databases.
• Strong financial understanding of warranty spend and cost-reduction tracking, plus the ability to present technical data to senior management.
• Onsite presence in Dearborn at least four days per week and legal authorization to work in the United States are required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Advanced knowledge of high-voltage battery design, BEC/BECM functions, and NCM or LFP cell chemistry.
• Experience with hirify.global GPDS, quality milestones, Alteryx, Python, or LLM prompting.
• Experience working with global battery suppliers such as LGES or SK On.
• Service Engineering or FCSD experience and Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
