Robotics Software Engineer Intern (Robotics)

Compensation: $46.15–$50.71 per hour

What you will do

• Build and improve internal tools, dashboards, and automation systems supporting factory operations.
• Contribute to backend services, APIs, and data pipelines used by engineering, operations, and quality teams.
• Develop features that improve visibility into production workflows, capacity, and program status.
• Collaborate with operations, program management, and quality teams to define requirements and deliver software solutions.
• Write clean, well-tested code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architectural discussions.

Requirements

• Current Bachelor's or Master's student in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Strong proficiency in C++ or Python.
• Exposure to motion control, trajectory generation, and robot kinematics or dynamics.
• Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams and owning projects end to end.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA.

• Internship or project experience shipping production software.
• Interest in manufacturing systems, automation, or industrial software.
