Robotics Software Engineer (Robotics)

Location: San Jose, California, United States; onsite attendance is required

Salary: $105,000–$125,000 per year, plus a bonus of up to 10%

What you will do

• Design, develop, and test software for cleanroom robot applications.
• Evaluate and implement technology solutions for semiconductor applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve reported software bugs and issues.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, team leads, and project managers to deliver high-quality work on time.
• Consult with external customers to define software specifications and solutions.
• Improve robot systems and software development processes while managing multiple projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Software development experience with Python, C, C++, or similar technologies.
• Passion for robotics or mechatronic systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects as a self-starter.
• Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, persistence, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to attend the San Jose workplace and carry, lift, push, and pull objects up to 25 lb, as well as bend, walk, and stand.

Nice to have

• Engineering degree with an emphasis on robotics or mechatronics.
• 1–3 years of mechatronics-related experience.
• Experience with motion-control applications in robotics or automation.
