What you will do

• Manage a mortgage or consumer lending department or major business unit, overseeing 15+ employees including supervisors and operations managers.
• Lead planning, operational analysis, problem resolution, reporting, and day-to-day execution.
• Design and implement methods, policies, and procedures that improve operational efficiency.
• Provide strategic direction, contingency planning, and regulatory compliance oversight.
• Lead multiple department- or division-level projects and represent the department on external projects when needed.
• Support the annual budget process and manage staffing, performance reviews, promotions, compensation recommendations, terminations, training, and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or four to five years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least four years of operations experience.
• At least four years of supervisory or management experience.
• Knowledge of business operations, applicable regulations, and affiliated technology.
• Ability to make discretionary decisions in uncertain situations and manage moderate organizational risk.

• Master’s degree.
