Asbestos Consultant (Environmental)

Location: UK field-based roles across the West Midlands, Shropshire, Yorkshire, Peterborough, and Worcestershire; regular travel to client sites across the UK.

Salary: From £35,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a company vehicle.

What you will do

• Conduct asbestos surveys and safely sample suspected asbestos-containing materials.
• Record survey findings accurately in line with job instructions and internal procedures.
• Assess asbestos risks and advise clients on removal or safe management strategies.
• Support clients in maintaining legal, safety, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams, providing timely reports and resolving on-site issues.

Requirements

• RSPH Level 3 Certificate in Asbestos Surveying or P402 qualification.
• At least six months of relevant asbestos surveying experience.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Ability to travel to and work independently at client sites across the UK.
• Technically knowledgeable, safety-focused, detail-oriented, and able to provide practical, compliant advice.
