Senior Product Manager - Software (AI/ML)

Location: San Jose, CA, Pittsburgh, PA, or Austin, TX

Salary: $160,000–$210,000 per year, plus equity and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Define the product strategy and roadmap for the compiler, SDK, runtime integrations, model conversion tools, and developer platform.
• Lead framework and model enablement across PyTorch, ONNX, ExecuTorch, LiteRT, and future runtimes.
• Own developer success metrics, including time-to-first-working-application, build success rates, workflow completion, and friction diagnostics.
• Establish SDK governance, release cadence, packaging, distribution, API stability, deprecation policies, and support lifecycle.
• Drive developer confidence through reproducible benchmarking, deterministic tooling, diagnostics, profiling, debugging, performance analysis, and documentation.
• Partner with engineering, applications, silicon architecture, marketing, customers, and ecosystem partners to guide platform capabilities and hardware roadmap decisions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience with developer-facing software platforms such as SDKs, compilers, runtimes, APIs, ML tooling, or embedded developer ecosystems.
• Experience shipping tools used directly by external developers, including customer-zero experience.
• Experience owning developer adoption, onboarding success, workflow completion, or developer productivity metrics.
• Strong understanding of ML inference and deployment pipelines, including PyTorch, ONNX, ExecuTorch, LiteRT, TensorRT, or equivalent technologies.
• Understanding of software performance tradeoffs involving memory, latency, throughput, power, and hardware utilization.
• Ability to collaborate with compiler, runtime, systems software, and silicon architecture teams and influence without authority.

Nice to have

• Experience with compiler toolchains, IRs, and deployment flows such as LLVM, MLIR, TOSA, or XLA.
• Experience with embedded AI deployment, edge inference, FreeRTOS, CMSIS-NN, Linux-based embedded environments, and cross-compilation.
• Experience with profiling tools, compiler traces, benchmark-driven optimization, and MLPerf or equivalent benchmarking methodologies.
• Experience in semiconductor, AI hardware, startup, or early-stage environments, including hybrid product management and developer relations responsibilities.
