What you will do

• Perform manual testing of web applications across functional, regression, integration, usability, and exploratory scenarios.
• Create, document, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on requirements.
• Identify, document, and track defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to troubleshoot issues and verify bug fixes.
• Support requirement analysis, UAT, production releases, and detailed test reporting.
• Manage testing tasks and defects using Jira, ClickUp, or similar tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of the software testing life cycle and defect life cycle.
• Knowledge of black-box, white-box, exploratory, functional, regression, and usability testing.
• Experience with Jira or similar ticketing and issue-tracking systems.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills in an agile environment.

Nice to have

• 1+ year of experience in manual testing of web applications.
• API testing experience with Postman.
• Basic knowledge of test automation frameworks.
• Understanding of performance and security testing concepts.
