Manufacturing Engineering Tech II (Manufacturing)

Location: Greenville, South Carolina, United States; onsite five days per week

What you will do

• Coordinate and organize production process methods, sustaining engineering, new product launches, and continuous improvement activities.
• Develop manufacturing processes and concepts for new product introductions and product enhancements using DFM/DFA, FMEA, 3P, 7-Ways, and Lean Six Sigma.
• Plan and implement capital projects, including CER creation and approvals, project timing, spending, budgeting, and plant VA/VE savings.
• Ensure manufacturing equipment meets OSHA safety requirements.
• Mentor, train, and lead project reviews covering PFMEA, APQP, Dynamic Control Plans, Lean tools, project management, and simultaneous engineering.
• Maintain manufacturing standards, including machine capability, process maps, setups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times.

Requirements

• Experience in engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to quickly assess manufacturing issues related to design and tolerancing.
• Knowledge of basic design and manufacturing datum development and its effect on manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work onsite in Greenville, South Carolina five days per week.
