2027-BOLT Intern-Financial Planning & Analysis

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; hybrid schedule may include Monday through Wednesday in the office and Thursday and Friday remotely. Travel may be required at less than 10%.

What you will do

• Support financial planning and analysis across Natural Gas Pipelines, CO2, Energy Transition Ventures, Products Pipelines, Terminals, Operational Support Group Planning, or Corporate Financial Planning.
• Evaluate and improve financial models, reports, and systems supporting bi-weekly Flash processes.
• Analyze variances and explain key financial drivers.
• Prepare summary materials for senior leadership and the Office of the Chair.
• Collaborate with various teams, participate in forecast calls and meetings, and support efficiency initiatives.
• Manage a special project and present the results to executives at the end of the internship.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, with expected graduation in December 2027 or May 2028.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate information clearly.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated, outgoing, and energetic approach.
