Senior Research Associate (Psychology)

Location: College Station, Texas, United States; may require weekend or after-hours work and travel.

What you will do

• Design, plan, coordinate, implement, monitor, and evaluate research projects and experiments.
• Apply advanced and standard research techniques, analyze data and experimental results, and maintain detailed research records.
• Establish, operate, maintain, and repair laboratory and research equipment.
• Prepare scientific publications and clientele-oriented reports based on research findings.
• Identify funding opportunities, submit grant proposals, and manage research project financial accounts.
• Train and supervise undergraduate and graduate students, laboratory staff, technical staff, and field research personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four years of related experience in a specialized and relevant research field.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Working knowledge of office software, instructional programs, computers, and applicable research software.
• Familiarity with relevant laboratory and technical equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
