Special Security Technician (Security Operations)

What you will do

• Process personnel clearances, SCI eligibility, hiring nomination packages, and background investigations for access to DCSA facilities and information.
• Maintain personnel security records, case files, reports, DISS data, local security databases, and reportable-item reviews in accordance with policy.
• Coordinate reciprocal recognition of investigations and adjudications with appropriate agencies.
• Develop and maintain security processes, SOPs, in/out-processing procedures, visitor services, and access-control workflows.
• Process visit authorizations, conference access, Pentagon and NCR access requests, badges, CACs, identification, and keys.
• Deliver security briefings and debriefings, provide IDS alarm-panel training, and manage security requests in ServiceNow and CATMS.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in an area related to the labor category.
• 1–3 years of personnel security experience, including experience within the last two years.
• Experience with SCIF building requirements and accreditation methods under DCID 6/9 and ICD 705.
• Knowledge of SCI and collateral security regulations, including DCID 6/3, ICD 704, ICD 705, and relevant Executive Orders.
