Data Steward (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Perform ongoing data quality assessments and monitor data quality metrics.
• Validate and reconcile data across reports, dashboards, databases, ERP, CRM, data warehouse, and source systems.
• Support the development, documentation, and enforcement of enterprise data governance policies.
• Document data lineage, ownership, definitions, usage guidelines, KPIs, metrics, and reporting calculations.
• Keep metadata and business definitions current as systems and reporting requirements evolve.
• Partner with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, application teams, and process owners on data-related questions and governance reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business systems, master data management, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with business data and reporting processes.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Dynamics, SyteLine, Oracle, or similar systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with data governance principles and frameworks.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
• Basic SQL and understanding of relational databases.
• Knowledge of Master Data Management concepts.
• Experience documenting business processes and data definitions.
