Laboratory Technician - 2nd Shift, 4*10 Schedule

Location: Portage, MI, USA; candidates must live within a commutable distance. Monday–Thursday, 3pm–1am, with overtime as needed.

What you will do

• Collect, clean, dry, and store laboratory glassware.
• Prepare solutions and retrieve acids and wash solvents from storage.
• Maintain laboratory supplies, dispose of waste solutions, and replace desiccant and pipette bath solutions as needed.
• Clean and maintain the glassware area, washer, and dryer.
• Support technical staff with miscellaneous laboratory activities.
• Scan and file documents while following safe and efficient work practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to interpret oral and written instructions and follow directions.
• Ability to learn and apply GMP-compliant work practices and systems.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize work, interact with varied personality styles, and work independently after training.
