Summer Internship - Manufacturing Engineering (Aerospace)

Location: Mobile Area, Alabama, United States; 100% onsite

hirify.global develops and manufactures commercial aircraft, including A320 Family and A220 aircraft at its U.S. manufacturing facility.

What you will do

• Support the launch and industrialization of a new aircraft production line.
• Develop rework instructions for non-conformities that deviate from the design dossier.
• Coordinate with MAP and Design Office engineers to support aircraft repairs.
• Lead and support projects focused on production productivity and process improvement.
• Maintain and update manufacturing processes from a technical perspective.
• Work with production teams on assembly, quality, maintenance, and health and safety activities.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering, with at least sophomore standing.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and quality control.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and design dossiers.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear verbal and written communication.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Must be able to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship or work authorization support.

Nice to have

• School projects in related engineering or manufacturing fields.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
