Product Security Engineer (GCP)

Location: Helsinki, Finland; hybrid work with weekly visits to the Helsinki office

Salary: €4,500–€6,000 per month, depending on experience

What you will do

• Design and build security event and log pipelines on Google Cloud, including detections, alerting, and dashboards.
• Engineer security observability and automation as reviewed, tested, and CI/CD-deployed code.
• Own and extend vulnerability triage, remediation nudging, and scanning-stack integrations.
• Build tooling for GRC operations and automate recurring security work such as customer data-removal monitoring.
• Harden cloud security architecture with SRE and Platform teams across IAM, least privilege, network egress, secrets, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Contribute to AI-assisted pull request and security review tooling.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud IAM, networking, logging, eventing services, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Production experience with at least one of TypeScript, Python, or Go, plus readiness to work with the other two in a large monorepo.
• Experience building data or event pipelines, observability systems, or detection tooling as version-controlled, reviewed, and tested software.
• Strong interest in security and experience building production software.
• Regular collaboration with SRE/Platform and product engineering teams is required.
• Daily use of modern AI tools and agents in the engineering workflow.
