Software Vulnerability Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: On-site in Linthicum, Maryland, daily

What you will do

• Evaluate software and firmware patches using binary patch diffing and root-cause vulnerability analysis.
• Analyze patch integrity and confirm that security fixes fully address target vulnerabilities.
• Document detailed analytical findings and validate mitigation effectiveness.
• Support the integration of AI-assisted software verification tools into security analysis workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with static and dynamic reverse engineering, binary patch diffing, and software vulnerability analysis.
• Hands-on proficiency with Ghidra, IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, GDB, or WinDbg.
• Strong programming and scripting skills in C, C++, and Python in Linux environments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
• Ability to provide daily on-site support in Linthicum, Maryland is required.

Nice to have

• Experience applying AI/ML models or LLM frameworks to code analysis, vulnerability discovery, or patch verification.
• Familiarity with Frida, DynamoRIO, or automated fuzzing engines.
• Knowledge of ASLR, DEP, CFI, Stack Canaries, and common CWEs.
