Risk Manager (Pharmaceutical Construction)

Location: Remote, Greater Chicago, IL, US

Salary: $125,000–$175,000 USD annually, depending on experience, education, and skill set.

Provides risk management services for major construction and infrastructure projects, including pharmaceutical projects.

What you will do

• Prepare and deliver quantitative risk assessment workshops with project stakeholders.
• Review project cost, schedule, and risk information and develop realistic risk impact assessments.
• Create comprehensive risk registers and risk profiles.
• Develop stress-test scenarios for extreme risk events and present analytical outputs to project teams.
• Support risk management professionals through risk and opportunity training and process updates.
• Engage new and existing clients through business development activities.

Requirements

• Degree or comparable experience in a relevant discipline.
• Experience delivering risk management services with a focus on risk modelling.
• Up to 12 years of experience in high-tech, pharmaceutical, data centre, infrastructure, or oil and gas industries.
• Experience with Primavera Risk Analysis, @Risk, or SafranRisk; familiarity with ARM, Xactium, RiskPredict, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project.
• Working knowledge of ISO 31000, COSO, AACE, and PMI risk management guidelines.
• PMI, RMP, IRM, or APM certification, or progress toward one.
