Senior Detection and Response Platform Engineer

What you will do

• Own and evolve the infrastructure powering detection and response workflows at scale.
• Design and maintain security telemetry pipelines for collecting, normalizing, enriching, and retaining logs and events.
• Operate the execution environment and tooling for detection logic and response automation, including configuration, dependencies, releases, and runtime health.
• Automate investigation and response workflows through integrations with security tools.
• Establish engineering standards through clear interfaces, automated testing, code review, and documentation.
• Maintain platform reliability through metrics, alerting, on-call support, playbooks, and recovery procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform/SRE, software engineering, or infrastructure-focused security engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and production-quality code development.
• Experience operating production systems in AWS, Azure, or GCP, including IAM, networking, and logging or auditing.
• Experience building and operating streaming or batch event and log pipelines with a focus on reliability and data quality.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and deployment automation, such as Terraform or Pulumi and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of detection and response across cloud, identity, and endpoint environments, plus strong operating system, networking, distributed systems, and technical documentation skills.
