Director (AI Infrastructure)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, CA; Bellevue, WA; or Sunnyvale, CA, US

Salary: $235,000–$275,000 per year plus bonus, with Restricted Stock Units included in all offers.

What you will do

• Partner with Power Production to model levelized cost of energy, plant utilization, and unit economics across on-site generation assets.
• Evaluate power purchase agreements, interconnection arrangements, and offtake contracts with Legal and Energy teams.
• Build capital plans and investment cases for generation, transmission, and energy storage projects, tracking returns against underwriting assumptions.
• Integrate power generation and energy activities into close, forecasts, budgets, and long-range planning.
• Monitor wholesale power and natural gas markets and translate market movements into financial impacts and planning assumptions.
• Align Power Production, Data Center Operations, corporate FP&A, power supply plans, and compute demand forecasts.

Requirements

• 8+ years of finance experience, including meaningful experience supporting a power generation, energy, or utilities business.
• Strong understanding of energy economics, including LCOE, capacity factors, fuel cost pass-through, and power purchase agreement structures.
• Advanced financial modeling skills, including building project finance or asset-level models from scratch.
• Experience evaluating capital projects and partnering with engineering and operations teams on investment decisions.
• Familiarity with wholesale power pricing and natural gas market dynamics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
