Manager, Itemized Bill Review (Healthcare)

Location: Remote - US; must work from anywhere in the United States

Salary: $105,000–$125,000 USD base salary per year

What you will do

• Oversee the Itemized Bill Review team, including production expectations, SLAs, client communication, assignments, and performance.
• Analyze business requirements, workflows, and processes to identify operational and review-efficiency improvements.
• Gather requirements for process-related development needs and coordinate system enhancements through Jira tickets, UAT testing, and production deployment.
• Track team metrics and trends, implement quality assurance processes, and develop training materials and dispute-response workflows.
• Coordinate cross-functional work with Operations, Client Success, IT, development, and audit teams to resolve issues and meet internal and external SLAs.
• Support onboarding, policy-change communications, special projects, and the identification of additional client savings.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience auditing itemized bills and 2+ years in a leadership position.
• Experience with healthcare industry software products, process development, medical chart reviews, and audit standards, policies, and regulations.
• Experience managing multiple projects and high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.
• Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with software and development teams, including requirements gathering and process-related issue resolution.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, the Microsoft Suite, Teams, and Windows office systems.
