Buyer - PPE (Maternity Leave Cover)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; interaction with teams in France, Germany, Spain, and Portugal and internal customers across hirify.global industrial sites worldwide.

What you will do

• Lead sourcing activities, tendering, and contract negotiations for Personal Protective Equipment across the hirify.global group.
• Complete a major ongoing PPE tender covering plants across Europe.
• Implement and monitor supplier contracts throughout innovation, development, serial, and support phases.
• Manage supplier relationships and projects to improve customer value while reducing total cost of ownership and risks.
• Maintain PPE catalogues and provide operational support during ordering and invoicing.
• Collaborate with multidivisional teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the contract lifecycle.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of procurement experience, preferably as a buyer or in supply chain/logistics with contract-management responsibilities.
• Strong skills in tendering, negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship management.
• Basic knowledge of export control and sustainability laws and regulations.
• Fluent English, written and verbal, is required; applications are considered in English.
• Ability to adapt to Coupa, SAP, E-Proc, Airsupply, and Google Suite.
• Delivery-oriented approach, customer focus, influencing and communication skills, teamwork, integrity, and compliance awareness.

Nice to have

• French and/or German language skills.
