Global Procurement Category Manager (People Services) (Procurement and Strategic Sourcing): Leading end-to-end category strategy, sourcing, supplier management, and commercial governance across People Services categories with an accent on cost optimisation, supplier performance, and stakeholder partnership. Focus on developing sourcing strategies, negotiating complex contracts, establishing supplier KPIs, and managing risk and compliance across a complex global organisation.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain category strategies for People Services spend, aligned with business priorities and workforce objectives.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, supplier consolidation, risk mitigation, service improvement, and innovation.
- Lead end-to-end RFI, RFP, RFQ, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract sourcing activities.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships, performance reviews, KPIs, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement plans.
- Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, HR, Finance, and operational teams to ensure contractual and regulatory requirements are met.
- Support and coach junior procurement colleagues while advising senior HR and business stakeholders globally.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management.
- Proven experience developing and executing category strategies across complex spend categories.
- Experience with People Services procurement, including recruitment services, learning and development, benefits, or HR operations.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, supplier relationship management, stakeholder management, influencing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading complex sourcing and contract negotiations in large and complex organisations.
- Degree or equivalent experience in procurement, business, finance, law, or a related discipline.
Nice to have
- Experience across multiple People Services categories or supporting HR transformation, organisational change, or workforce strategy programmes.
- Experience in financial services or another regulated environment.
- CIPS Level 5/6 or equivalent professional procurement qualification.
- Additional qualifications in contract management, supplier management, or procurement best practice.
