Senior Director, Infrastructure Solutions (Cloud and Enterprise Infrastructure)

Location: Remote, 100% off site; role associated with Boston, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $220,300–$250,100 per year

What you will do

• Lead the design, roadmap, and modernization of enterprise infrastructure solutions supporting digital transformation.
• Define standards and frameworks for cloud, network, hosting, and core infrastructure services delivered through third-party vendors.
• Translate business initiatives into infrastructure blueprints and detailed Infrastructure Requirement Documents.
• Lead and develop teams of technical analysts, architects, and infrastructure specialists.
• Oversee managed service providers, SLAs, technical KPIs, risk mitigation, escalations, and continuous improvement.
• Manage infrastructure capital and operating budgets and present technical strategies to executive, clinical, and research leaders.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in IT ecosystems within hospitals, life sciences, or medical device organizations.
• Expert management of enterprise-scale AWS/Azure hybrid architectures, SD-WAN/core networking, and modernized data-center hosting.
• Experience directing digital workplace teams and maximizing the Microsoft 365 stack, including Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems and managing multi-year, multi-million-dollar outsourcing contracts.
• ITIL certification required; PMP, CISSP/CIS, Azure, and AWS certifications are preferred.
• Knowledge of precision medicine, high-performance computing, clinical zero-downtime environments, generative AI, FinOps, Zero Trust, Entra ID, SSO, MFA, and HIPAA/HITECH compliance.
