System Administrator (Windows/Linux)

What you will do

• Administer Windows and Linux systems, including configuration, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Support Nutanix virtualization environments through VM provisioning, configuration, and performance checks.
• Maintain configuration baselines, engineering-change records, system documentation, and sustainment artifacts.
• Implement and validate cybersecurity patches required by IAVA, TCNO, and NOTAM directives.
• Support test and development environments, patch testing, configuration control, and test data accuracy.
• Manage service accounts and directory services, investigate root causes, and escalate complex issues to senior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least five years of related IT or cybersecurity systems support experience.
• Ability to obtain, maintain, and access classified information at the Secret level.
• DoD 8410 WRC 722 Intermediate-level certification required, such as Security+, SSCP, GSEC, Cloud+, CCSP, CGRC/CAP, or another listed qualifying certification.
• Experience or ability to comply with cybersecurity patch directives and sustainment processes.
• Ability to perform recurring physical duties, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
