Product Manager (LMS)

Location: Remote within Washington, D.C., and any of the 50 U.S. states

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 per year, with potential bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end implementation of Canvas features, enhancements, and workflows across K–12 environments.
• Guide and collaborate on PowerSchool feature and workflow implementations.
• Partner with engineering, design, curriculum, and support teams to improve experiences for teachers, students, and administrators.
• Evaluate and manage third-party tools and content providers, ensuring interoperability with LTI, QTI, SCORM, and xAPI standards.
• Own the product backlog, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and coordinate delivery with engineering.
• Develop adoption, satisfaction, and learning-impact metrics; create training materials, release notes, and demos for feature rollouts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; a technical or instructional technology background is preferred.
• 4–8 years of experience in product management or LMS administration.
• Strong understanding of LMS integrations, digital content delivery, and LTI, QTI, SCORM, and xAPI standards.
• Experience working with educators, administrators, and instructional designers to improve workflows and learning experiences.
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to translate user needs into technical requirements.

• Hands-on experience with Canvas and PowerSchool.
