Head of Business Analytics NCEE (m/f/d)

Location: Ulm, Germany; hybrid working with up to 2 remote days per week. The role supports a distributed team across Germany, the Netherlands, and Finland and requires security clearance.

What you will do

• Provide disciplinary and professional leadership for a cross-border technical presales team.
• Drive team development, upskilling, operational planning, staffing, and risk mitigation.
• Identify market opportunities and develop competitive technical solution offerings that support order intake and revenue growth.
• Lead technical presales support for tenders and customer projects in partnership with bids, sales, and program delivery leadership.
• Align regional teams and executive stakeholders across Europe to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
• Manage budgets and multiple regional cost centers while optimizing resources and profitability.

Requirements

• Technical understanding of mission-critical communications, PMR, TETRA, and modern private 4G/5G broadband networks.
• Experience in direct team management and disciplinary leadership, including distributed and cross-border teams.
• Hands-on experience leading technical presales activities and supporting competitive bids or tenders.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills across customers, executives, sales, and project teams.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable technical or business field.
• Proactive, autonomous approach to risk identification, process improvement, and problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Experience or domain knowledge in public safety and defense markets.
• Experience managing regional cost centers, cost forecasting, and profitability targets.
