Senior Experience Design Lead (UI/UX)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States; full-time onsite role

Salary: $114,500–$194,700 USD base pay per year

What you will do

• Envision and deliver digital and service experiences for business-unit products and initiatives.
• Improve user experiences in collaboration with technology and business stakeholders.
• Create user experiences ranging from low-fidelity sketches to high-fidelity mockups and prototypes using the NT Digital Design System.
• Lead research for features and services, applying usability testing, research planning, competitive analysis, and other design methods.
• Provide creative direction, conduct design reviews, and balance research, technology, and business objectives.
• Guide designers and researchers while contributing to agile and emerging experience projects.

Requirements

• 9+ years of demonstrated experience delivering digital experiences.
• Education in design or a related field, or comparable training.
• Professional portfolio demonstrating human-centered design and UI/UX best practices.
• Strong skills across visual, interaction, information architecture, and product design.
• Experience with design systems and managing Figma libraries.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
