Texas A&M AgriLife Research is a research organization within the Texas A&M University System, with this position based in the Department of Entomology.

What you will do

• Participate in ongoing laboratory research on insect chemical ecology and the mechanisms and applications of plant-insect interactions.
• Conduct laboratory, greenhouse, and field experiments.
• Analyze data and prepare research reports and manuscripts.
• Develop and submit research proposals to funding agencies.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Entomology or a related field.
• Research skills and techniques in chemical ecology.
• Ability to conduct experimental work, analyze data, and prepare research manuscripts and proposals.
• All positions are security-sensitive and require a criminal history investigation and verification of credentials.

Nice to have

• PhD in Entomology or a related field.
• Experience with chemical or molecular ecology techniques.
• Experience in biological control of insects and/or field research.
