Industrial Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Belvidere, Illinois, USA; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Coordinate successful New Product Introductions within operations.
• Support facility transformation, technology transfer, and maintenance of mixed-model lines and value streams.
• Lead process improvement initiatives through policies, procedures, documentation, and standard hirify.global methodologies.
• Synchronize product, material, and information flows to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Work with shop-floor personnel to improve manufacturing methods, systems, controls, and operational performance.
• Define area layouts and processes, and justify, select, and implement equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology.
• 1–3 years of related engineering experience in a similar working environment.
• Proficiency in CAD, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or ProE.
• Knowledge of lean principles and process improvement.
• Experience working in high-mix, low-volume and high-volume, low-mix production environments.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
