Product Quality Specialist (APQP)

Location: Perry, Oklahoma, United States; onsite office and manufacturing/shop work with periodic supplier, testing, and industry travel.

Annual salary: $55,000–$65,000.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, facilitate, and continuously improve APQP processes throughout new product development.
• Conduct risk assessments, quality reviews, and production-readiness activities.
• Analyze product, process, supplier, and field-performance data to identify risks and drive corrective actions.
• Lead and participate in root-cause investigations, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Support, Suppliers, Supply Management, and Quality teams.
• Maintain quality documentation, reports, project deliverables, and product records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 years of quality, manufacturing, engineering support, product support, or related technical experience.
• Knowledge of quality principles, manufacturing processes, APQP concepts, quality planning, and risk-based problem solving.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand products, manufacturing processes, technical systems, engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, research, risk-analysis, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn business, engineering, quality, and data-analysis software.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with FMEA, PPAP, risk assessments, control plans, or related quality-planning tools.
• Experience in new product development, manufacturing operations, supplier quality, engineering support, or product support.
• Experience with heavy, construction, agricultural, or other complex manufactured equipment.
• ASQ certifications such as CQT or CQE.
