Project Manager - Mechanical Engineer (Industrial Equipment)

Location: On-site in Montréal, Canada

What you will do

• Analyze production and stakeholder needs, identify issues, and define project requirements.
• Plan and manage projects through final delivery, including budgets, schedules, changes, and project documentation.
• Develop equipment layouts for new and existing facilities and coordinate mechanical, civil, structural, electrical, and construction activities.
• Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and documentation for equipment procurement, installation, and facility construction.
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, construction, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Supervise on-site construction and installation work, participate in coordination meetings, and approve project invoices.

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Process Engineering with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) is required.
• Experience with industrial equipment maintenance and systems such as electric motors, conveyors, pumps, and steel structures.
• Knowledge of the construction industry and experience with industrial facilities.
• Bilingual English and French communication skills are required.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks, with strong organization, adaptability, and stress-management skills.

• Experience in mining, cement manufacturing, or another heavy-industry environment.
