Engineering Co-op Opportuntities (WI) (Commercial HVAC Manufacturing): Building and testing HVAC product prototypes, improving manufacturing processes, and supporting product and application engineering from concept through production with an accent on hands-on testing, troubleshooting, product design, and customer-focused solutions. Focus on documenting test results, developing operating procedures, analyzing customer needs, and collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, sales, and product teams.
Location: Schofield, Wisconsin, United States; full-time, 40 hours per week, with occasional in-person meetings and office-based work.
Starting base pay: $22.00–$28.00 per hour.

What you will do
- Build prototypes, conduct tests, and document results for new products, redesigns, and customer-driven requests.
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedures, troubleshoot machines, and support continuous improvement in manufacturing.
- Contribute to facility layout design and process development to improve operational efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Design, test, and support the production of new and existing HVAC products from concept through market launch.
- Conduct market research, analyze customer needs, and assist with product selection software design and testing.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, marketing, manufacturing, sales, and operations teams.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a related bachelor's degree program, such as Mechanical, Industrial, Technology, Manufacturing, or Applied Engineering.
- Expected to graduate within the next three semesters or less.
- Interest in hands-on learning and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Experience working with basic hand tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for developing customer-focused solutions.
- Work onsite in Central Wisconsin during an eight-month co-op term from January to August or May to December.
