Maintenance Mechanic II (HVAC)

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on motors, conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, production machinery, and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Perform MIG, TIG, stick, and oxy-acetylene welding, cutting, brazing, and metal fabrication.
• Inspect parts, measure dimensional changes, replace defective components, and operate metalworking tools such as drill presses and grinders.
• Monitor refrigerant levels, identify leaks, and recover or recharge refrigerants according to regulations and safety standards.
• Document completed work orders, communicate preventive maintenance practices, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements

• One to three years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Verbal and written English communication skills required.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and algebraic functions.
• Equipment troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including the ability to propose solutions.
