Branch Manager II (Industrial Gases)

What you will do

• Oversee daily retail branch operations to achieve sales and margin goals.
• Provide customer service and respond to product, pricing, and technical inquiries.
• Support outside sales by maintaining existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities.
• Process daily financial transactions, including cash reports, charge tickets, pricing, coding, costing, and bank deposits.
• Manage back orders, open orders, purchase-order expedites, and cylinder and hardgoods inventory levels.
• Train and review branch associates while providing performance guidance in collaboration with Human Resources and senior management.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of management experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Experience leading teams in a retail or industrial distribution environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and occasionally up to 125 pounds with material-handling equipment.
• Proficient computer skills, willingness to learn digital tools, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Self-motivation and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in the welding, gas, or safety industry.
• At least 3 years of experience focused on team growth and operational efficiency.
• At least 5 years of sales experience.
• Experience with inventory management and vendor relationships.
