Sexual Violence Prevention Educator

What you will do

• Develop and implement campus-wide sexual violence prevention education and training strategies that promote consent and inclusive environments.
• Design and deliver curricula and materials for faculty, staff, students, and other audiences through online and offline channels.
• Coordinate education programs, projects, and special events, including peer-led prevention initiatives.
• Collaborate with university units, community groups, professional organizations, government departments, and post-secondary institutions.
• Evaluate program performance and impact by collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting results.
• Develop social media strategies, conduct campus climate surveys, support policy reviews, and provide referrals following individual disclosures.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and at least five years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience developing education strategies and programming, preferably in a post-secondary setting and with diverse audiences.
• Experience evaluating program delivery and impact.
• Cultural competency, intercultural communication, and the ability to adapt learning and communication approaches.
• Excellent oral and written communication, public speaking, presenting, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Project management, organizational change, problem-solving, planning, Microsoft Office, and the ability to lead and support others.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Equivalent lived experience, education, training, and work experience related to sexual violence prevention.
