Software Trainer

Location: Remote across the United States and Canada, with about 25% travel for virtual and on-site customer training; East Coast candidates preferred.

What you will do

• Own customer-facing training engagements from planning through delivery.
• Learn the configurable benefits administration product and customer environments, becoming a product subject matter expert.
• Create and maintain curricula, exercises, job aids, quick-reference guides, and process documentation.
• Deliver live virtual and on-site training tailored to customer configurations, skill levels, and technical aptitude.
• Coordinate training schedules across multiple customer accounts and consult on complex training requirements.
• Collect feedback and performance data to improve training content and delivery methods.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience delivering technology-based training to adult learners and developing curricula.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience partnering with subject matter experts in complex software or customer environments.
• Technical writing experience producing clear job aids, quick-reference guides, and process documentation for software audiences.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, presentation, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet; experience using generative AI tools such as Claude and Copilot.

Nice to have

• Certification in training or learning and development.
• East Coast location.
