Senior Technical Sourcer

Location: Remote - US; candidates must already be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Salary: $104,368.00–$156,551.00 base salary

What you will do

• Develop sourcing strategies and qualified pipelines for specialized roles across software development, platform engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, data, and AI.
• Identify and engage passive senior technical talent with experience building products, platforms, and scalable systems.
• Translate technical requirements into candidate profiles, target markets, sourcing strategies, and outreach approaches.
• Assess candidates for technical depth, individual contribution, scope, and product- or platform-building experience.
• Present talent-market research, competitive intelligence, pipeline performance, risks, and recommendations to senior engineering stakeholders.
• Coach sourcers and share technical sourcing practices across the Talent Acquisition team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional sourcing or recruiting experience, including 3+ years focused on software engineering or technical talent.
• 5+ years sourcing senior, staff, principal, architect, engineering leadership, or similarly specialized technical talent.
• 2+ years sourcing talent for greenfield development, platform engineering, cloud transformation, modernization, or new product development.
• Experience advising and presenting talent-market or pipeline information to VP- and C-suite-level engineering stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of backend or full-stack development, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, APIs, microservices, platform engineering, DevOps, data platforms, or AI.
• Advanced technical sourcing, candidate assessment, data analysis, and stakeholder-influence skills.

Nice to have

• Experience sourcing talent for enterprise-scale platforms, cloud-native products, or zero-to-one environments.
• Experience supporting executive-level engineering searches.
• Experience in healthcare technology, SaaS, AI, or a private equity-backed organization.
• Experience with Workday Recruiting, HireEZ, or similar talent intelligence platforms.
