TL;DR
Business Analyst (Salesforce) (Salesforce): Translating business requirements into user stories, process flows, and technical specifications while optimizing Salesforce organizations with an accent on Agile delivery, system analysis, and stakeholder collaboration. Focus on designing automation opportunities, coordinating functional testing and UAT, analyzing root causes, and enabling business users through documentation and training.
Location: Remote, United States; occasional work in corporate or client offices may be required.
Salary: USD 70,000–80,000 per year

What you will do
- Collaborate with business partners, Product Owners, and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and technical specifications.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and maintain the product backlog in Jira.
- Analyze Salesforce processes and identify automation and efficiency improvements.
- Partner with Salesforce Developers and Architects on best-practice solutions and release impact assessment.
- Define test plans, coordinate UAT, investigate defects, and perform root cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in an IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or related role.
- At least 2 years of direct Salesforce experience, including standard and custom objects, flows, validation rules, and security controls.
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum software development frameworks.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Availability to work remotely from the United States and attend corporate or client offices onsite when necessary.
Nice to have
- Salesforce Certified Business Analyst certification.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator certification.
- Experience with Visio or Lucidchart for process mapping.
