Localization Engineer, EMEA

What you will do

• Provide engineering and technical services for large and complex localization projects.
• Analyze, prepare, convert, and back-convert files for translation and implementation.
• Troubleshoot localization and translation projects throughout their full lifecycle.
• Manage TMS/CAT tool configurations and support new process requirements.
• Resolve tag issues in translated files and guide project teams or external engineers through application conversions.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and suggest new tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent formal academic or vocational qualification.
• Approximately five years of relevant experience.
• Experience with JSON, RESX, VTT, HTML, XML, MadCap Flare, DITA, Articulate, MP4, and Captivate.
• Experience with content management systems such as Tridion or ST4, plus parsers or scripting.
• Programming knowledge in Python, C++, or C#.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAT/TMS tools such as Wordbee, SDL Trados Studio, memoQ, Memsource/Phrase, or XTM.
• Certification in localization engineering or a related field.
