Production Scheduling Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Minneota, Minnesota, United States

Salary: $45,000–$65,000 annually, dependent on experience. Annual performance bonus opportunity.

What you will do

• Plan and schedule production activities while balancing sales demand, work center capacity, manpower, and material availability.
• Create and maintain a three-month build plan based on sales backlog and forecasted orders.
• Release weekly plant schedules and work orders through the Vantage ERP system, distributing schedules to supervisors and production managers.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Project Management, Engineering, Purchasing, Production Managers, and Supervisors to optimize manufacturing efficiency and customer responsiveness.
• Monitor project launches, work center loads, job status, scheduled shipments, and work-in-progress balances.
• Analyze labor and material transactions, identify shipping and data errors, resolve completion issues, and prepare weekly production reports.

Requirements

• Five years of experience in an operations role within a manufacturing environment; consumer products experience is preferred.
• Three years of production scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment; consumer products experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of ERP software, including Vantage scheduling and reporting tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills, independent working ability, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
