Production Scheduling Specialist (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Enter, update, and maintain production schedules and related reports.
• Track production status, material availability, delivery dates, and other scheduling inputs.
• Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation supporting production planning and customer delivery requirements.
• Coordinate routine scheduling information with Operations, Procurement, Program Management, and other internal functions.
• Compile direct labor estimate inputs, historical data, and standard reports.
• Escalate capacity, staffing, material, equipment, explosive-limit, and delivery constraints to management.

Requirements

• Three years of experience in production scheduling, production control, manufacturing administration, inventory or material tracking, or a related support role preferred.
• Working knowledge of production scheduling, production control, manufacturing support, or inventory and material tracking.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and production, ERP, or scheduling systems such as SAP or Microsoft Project.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, prioritization, time management, communication, and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to regularly perform all job functions at the company office or work site and read and write complex documents in English.

Nice to have

• Experience in defense manufacturing, munitions, metal fabrication, or radiography.
• Associate degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, Logistics, Production Planning, or a related field.
• AS9001 or ISO 9001 knowledge.
