Program Manager (mRNA LNP, Drug Product CMC/Development)

Location: Remote from the United States; the role includes travel up to 25% for onsite visits in Fargo, North Dakota or at client locations.

Annual salary: $100,000–$125,000, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of standardized programs and projects across client accounts.
• Manage timelines, budgets, KPIs, governance structures, project metrics, and capacity forecasts.
• Build trust-based client relationships, manage conflicts, and support long-term partnerships.
• Act as the primary liaison for internal project teams while mentoring team members and maintaining high-quality client service.
• Provide leadership updates on project status, risks, and opportunities.
• Support proposals, contract renewals, account strategy, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; an advanced scientific degree in molecular biology, biology, biotechnology, or biochemistry is strongly preferred.
• At least 5 years of client-facing project or program experience in life sciences, preferably including 3 or more years in a CDMO environment.
• Experience managing projects and contracts in a regulated biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or related technology-driven field.
• Experience and industry understanding in mRNA LNP drug products.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including risk forecasting and implementation of sustainable solutions.
• Ability to travel up to 25% for onsite Fargo or client-location visits.
