Management Accountant

Location: Washington, United Kingdom; hybrid working with two days from home

Salary: up to £40,000 per year

hirify.global is supporting an organisation with a fast-paced finance team focused on management information, financial control, and business performance.

What you will do

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate complex balances.
• Post accruals, prepayments, and month-end journals.
• Produce management information, departmental reporting, management accounts, and reporting packs.
• Partner with budget holders to analyse costs and explain variances.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, ad-hoc projects, and wider finance initiatives.
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities while supporting junior team members.

Requirements

• Previous management accounting experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Confidence challenging assumptions and interpreting financial data.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proactive approach and a continuous improvement mindset.

• Experience with ERP systems.
