What you will do

• Lead industrial safety, occupational health, and environmental initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
• Strengthen the safety culture, prevent injuries and incidents, and identify and control operational risks.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Mexican regulations, NOM-STPS standards, and corporate requirements.
• Support Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and Leadership with technical EHS guidance.
• Coordinate risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and EHS metrics reporting.
• Develop and deliver EHS training and participate in internal, external, customer, and regulatory audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Industrial Safety, EHS, or a related role in a manufacturing or maquiladora environment.
• Knowledge of Mexican EHS regulations, NOM-STPS standards, environmental compliance, hazardous waste, and chemical management.
• Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems and audit participation.
• Knowledge of high-risk activities including LOTO, confined spaces, work at heights, hot work, electrical safety, machine guarding, chemical safety, PPE, emergency response, and fire protection.
• English proficiency sufficient for communicating EHS information, participating in meetings, and understanding technical documentation is preferred.

• Familiarity with physical security programs and supply-chain security requirements such as CTPAT/OEA.
