Associate Director, Payments (MedTech)

Location: Titusville, Raritan, or New Brunswick, New Jersey; Malvern, Horsham, or Spring House, Pennsylvania, United States. Hybrid work is indicated; remote work may be considered on a case-by-case basis with Company approval. Up to 10% domestic and global travel may be required.

Salary: $137,000–$235,750 per year, plus eligibility for incentive, retirement, and savings plans.

What you will do

• Lead the Americas Payments team across insourced and outsourced clinical studies.
• Own and develop the clinical investigator payment strategy and end-to-end site payment process.
• Align study pricing design with Global Pricing and coordinate payment functionality with Clinical Trial Management System teams.
• Partner with Local Trial Managers, Site Managers, and study teams to resolve payment disputes.
• Ensure process integrity and compliance with financial and healthcare requirements.
• Improve payment processes, identify efficiencies, and develop talent across the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 8 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience managing people and developing talent.
• Experience in Procure to Pay, clinical trial administration, clinical site contracting, payment administration, or a related field.
• Demonstrated AI literacy and ability to apply AI tools responsibly to improve productivity, decision-making, and outcomes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a changing, collaborative environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with clinical trial budget development, contracting, payments, procurement, accounts payable, or clinical operations.
• Knowledge of procurement systems and/or Clinical Trial Management Systems.
• Experience with Tableau.
